Festival Experiences

Land Train

Hop aboard the festival land train, running around the Village and the Festival Site. A relaxed and enjoyable way for all the family to get around while taking in the atmosphere of the day.

Animal HQ

A relaxed, hands-on animal experience run by Animal Activity, where visitors can meet and interact with a variety of gentle animals including Snakes, Lizards, Spiders and many more.

With a focus on welfare, handling and understanding, the sessions are designed to be calm, friendly and engaging for all ages.

Circus Experience

A lively mix of performances and interactive workshops, offering visitors the chance to watch skilled circus acts and try a few techniques for themselves.

Market On The Green

A lively market on the Village Green featuring the best local artists, makers and independent traders around the South Hams. Browse handmade crafts, artwork, jewellery, textiles and locally produced goods, and meet the people behind them.

Magician

Live street magic and interactive performances from Lez The Fez, bringing humour and surprise to the festival. Alongside his magic, he’ll also be creating colourful balloon sculptures for younger visitors throughout the day.

Fun Land

Located just off the Village Green a collection of games, rides and activities bringing family-friendly fun to the heart of the village, including a bouncy castle, children’s circus, and various fun fair stalls.

Put your dog to the test on our obstacle course, with owners guiding their dogs through a series of fun challenges. The fastest times will go on the leaderboard, with a prize for the top dog at the end of the day.

Birds of Pray

A live birds of prey display featuring close encounters and flying demonstrations, offering a chance to see these impressive birds up close.

Prawle Fair

The traditional village fair will be held on the Cricket Pitch and organised by the Prawle Fair Committee. With classic stalls, games and community activities, it remains a long-standing East Prawle tradition and an important part of the village’s annual celebrations.

Zak Zaffiro

A relaxed solo set from Zak from ‘The Zaffiros’, featuring a mix of original songs and familiar favourites, played with his own easy-going style.

Yonder Folk

High energy indie-folk duo that play a mix of catchy original songs and timeless covers.

Nick The Fish

A lively acoustic set packed with well-known songs, singalong favourites and plenty of energy. Nick takes requests throughout and always manages to get the crowd involved.

Food & Drink

A tuk tuk bar serving beer, cider, wine and soft drinks throughout the day, with a small selection of bar snacks available.

Piglet Stores

The village shop will be open throughout the festival offering everyday essentials, snacks, sweet treats, ice creams and takeaway items for visitors spending the day in East Prawle.

Pigs Nose Inn

The historic village pub will be open throughout the festival offering its full sit-down restaurant experience, with seasonal dishes and drinks served throughout the day.

Piglet Cafe

Serving coffee, homemade cakes and light refreshments, along with takeaway options such as sandwiches, salads and light hot dishes.

The Pig Shack

The Pig Shack will be serving takeaway favourites throughout the festival including wood-fired pizzas, burgers and freshly cooked fish and chips. A perfect stop for visitors looking for something hearty and easy to enjoy while exploring the festival.

Getting Here

East Prawle is located in the South Hams on the south Devon coast.

Village Green, East Prawle, Devon, TQ7 2BY

Parking will be available in designated parking areas with signs directing visitors on arrival into the village.

Parking

Parking will be available close to the village at the Prawle Fair Car Park. Please follow signs and guidance from stewards when arriving. Its £5 per car.

We encourage visitors to arrive early where possible as village parking can become busy during the day.

Toilets

Toilet facilities are available at several locations throughout the village including The Pig’s Nose Inn, Piglet Café, and the public toilets located at the top of the Village Green. There are also toilets located on the Prawle Fair Site

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the outdoor festival areas and The Pigs Nose Inn

Supporting the Community

The purpose of the festival is to support the local community in a meaningful and lasting way. Funds raised are directed towards local charities and community groups, helping to sustain and grow the organisations that matter most. At the same time, the festival provides valuable support to local independant businesses across the village and surrounding areas.
